My Talented and Creative Friend

I have a very creative and talented friend (well, one could say that I have several creative and talented friends). This particular friend makes the most beautiful cards! Her handmade cards are so distinctive and lovely and I treasure each one I receive from her.

She has a birthday tomorrow (and just seems to get younger and more beautiful each year!)

I won't post the story about her Wednesday night admirer at El Ranchito - but it is a great story entitled "Note on a Napkin from An Admirer."

Guadalupe County Veterans Memorial

The Veterans Memorial on the grounds of the County Courthouse is lovely - and it is so touching to read all of the veterans' names on the brick walk. This memorial is dedicated to Guadalupe County citizens who died in World War I, WWII, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam.
